We are grateful and honoured that you are considering us to be your dental practice! In most circumstances, our Care Director will schedule a new patient exam and hygiene booking for your first visit. This allows our dentist to get a thorough snapshot of your oral health and you to leave with a fresh, clean smile. Following your first booking, we will help you stay on top of your reCare bookings and develop a treatment plan to ensure any issues needing further treatment are taken care of. Absolutely. As a courtesy to our patients, Care Dental works directly with most insurance companies and we do our best to make sure that our patients never pay a dime over the patient portion of their booking. Our Care team will review estimates beforehand to ensure that there are no billing surprises. This allows you to maximize your treatment options and schedule bookings at a pace you are comfortable with.
To use our direct billing option, Care Dental requires a credit card to be kept on file to cover any residual balances or overages.
Care Dental accepts: Cash, Debit, MasterCard & Visa.
Payment is due at the time service is provided.

Care Dental considers your booking important and has reserved the time for your booking exclusively for you. We feel that our patient’s time is valuable. Except for emergency treatment for another patient, you can expect us to be prompt. We, of course, do appreciate the same courtesy. We are looking forward to seeing your smiling face!
Rebooking with adequate notice is never a problem. However, in order to best serve our patients, we require 2 business days notice to reschedule or cancel an existing dental booking. 3 business days are required to reschedule or cancel bookings 2 hours or longer. In lieu of notice, a $105 fee may be applied to your visit.
To cancel or reschedule a booking, you must phone the practice during practice hours. Cancellation or rebooking requests by text message or voice message will not be accepted.
Fees of this nature are 100% donated to CareKids, a Care Dental community initiative which provides dental care to local children in need.

Great question! The short answer is NO. At Care Dental we do offer an elevated standard of care but this does NOT mean that we charge more. In fact, in British Columbia dental fees are set by the British Columbia Dental Association. At Care Dental we strive to think through every aspect of the patient experience to ensure we are the dentist you will look forward to visiting. This means expert dentists, cutting edge, high-tech equipment and extraordinary hospitality but it does not mean higher fees. At Care Dental you get more, but don’t pay more.
Care Dental absolutely accepts patients who are covered by the Ministry. We value all our patients and hope that you will choose us to be your care provider. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer direct billing to the Ministry. That means that patients with Ministry coverage are responsible to pay for all dental services in full at the time of treatment. Care Dental will provide claim forms that include the treatment codes so that patients can easily and seamlessly submit claims on their own behalf.
